Jeffory Kaniewski

Jeffory Kaniewski began his personal journey of self discovery in the early 1990’s when he attended Michael Harner’s workshop, The Way of the Shaman. He has studied with Geo Cameron, Myron Eshowsky and John Perkins and has apprenticed and traveled with Ruben Orellana and Don Theo Paredes.

Jeffory is a Pipe Carrier and a maker of Sacred Pipes, Drums and Rattles. He has led workshops on Drum Making and “Drumming Out Drugs” at Michigan State University for students with substance abuse issues. He serves on the Board of Companeros de Poqen Kanchay, a 501(3)(C) foundation created by Don Theo Paredes committed to the rescue and preservation of the cultures and traditions of the native peoples of the Americas.

Jeffory continues to learn and grow his spirit and is willing to talk with anyone about how we use our Shamanic tools to serve the community and help others.
